Wesfarmers secures control of CSBP

The epic struggle for control of CSBP would take General Manager John Bennison around the world, through the courts and into a bitter battle with the Farmers Union. On 11 September 1979, when farmers ultimately delivered the 75 per cent vote required to seal the deal, Wesfarmers had entered the big league.
