Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse are award-winning musicians with a strong connection to the local Noongar community.
Gina and Guy partnered with Wesfarmers to perform at its 100-year celebrations, with special performances in Noongar language to the large crowds in attendance. Building on this partnership, Gina and Guy have embarked on a regional tour right across the south-west of Western Australia, taking their Noongar-language songs to local primary schools.
Their workshops and regional performances have the dual effect of promoting inclusivity and positive interaction with their local audiences, as well as celebrating and reinforcing the Noongar language.
Wesfarmers' partnership with Gina and Guy has evolved and developed over a period of time and reflects the central principles of the Wesfarmers RAP – relationships, respect, opportunities.
